RESOLUTION NO. 3637
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF
GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS.
6 WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented to be
7 entered into with the State of California in accordance with a
8 project statement submitted by the City of Newport Beach for
9i expenditure of the gas tax allocation to cities for the fiscal
10 1 year 1949, and
11 AREAS, the City Council has heard read said agreement in
12 full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
13 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
14I of Newport Beach that said project statement be and it is hereby
15 adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax
16 allocation to cities, and said agreement be and the same is hereby
17 approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the
18 same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon the
19 City upon its execution by the authorized officials of the State.
20 ADOPTED this 8th day of November, 1948.
