that the City Council of the City of Amcport Beach,
California., having in open session on the 13ta day of December, 1948
publicly= opened, exassIned and ceclare.d all sealed proposals ox bide
for the followin,', work to be cosie and impruv;_3aents to be :Lr.c:e in

fhe construction or remoaellL.,, of two oxieting sewage pumping
stations in the firet alley lyin; -, iforth of South Bay Front, known as
south Speedway (Balboa Island). near sarphiro Avenue anu Jade ;.v::nue,
and the installation of new pumps, motors, electrical equipments
conduits, floats, cast iron pipes, valves, fittings and appurtenanoes,
and the construction of a cast iron ripe pressure line, to: ,,ether with
appurtenant work in connection with any and all items of improvement
hereinabove mentioned, all as more particularly described in Acsolution
of Intention No. 3631, passed and adopted by the City Council of said
:4ty on the 25th day of October, 19113 and on file in the office of
the City clerk of said City.
For further particulars, reference is here'py made to said

and to the tpecifieations for thz> snit :cork heretofore adopted by the

City, and all of said plans, profiles, drawings and specifications
heretofore approved by the City Council of said City are incorporated
herein and made a part hereof, and reference is hereby made thereto
for a more particular description of anid work.
Said City Council has determined and declared that the
contemplated work and improvement heretofore mentioned was, in the

• opinion of said City Council, of sore than local or ordinary public
. benefit and the said Council has made the expenses of said work
char"eable upon a district. For the particular description of the

bonds, representing unpaid assc- -menu _,nd bearing interest at the

the manner provided by the "Improve:.:ent Bund Act of 1915 ", being
