RESOLUTION NO. 3651
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of December, 1948, the State of
California acquired real property situate in the City of Newport
Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot Twenty of "Tract No. 1026 ", as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 33, pages 37 and 38 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California, and as shown on a Licensed
Surveyor's Map filed in Book 12, page 35 of Record of Sury
in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California, being a resurvey of said Tract No. 1026, showi
corrections of bearings and distances.
WHEREAS, under and pursuant to the provisions of Section
4986 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, the State of California is
entitled to a cancellation of the taxes levied against said
property before the acquisition of title by the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the Auditor of the City of Newport Beach cancel all taxes of
Newport Beach upon the property hereinabove described.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of New-
port Beach, on the 27th day of December, 1948, by the following
to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen Greeley, Robertson, Blue, Drake
NOES: Councilmen None
ABSENT: Councilmen Isbell
