OF INTENTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF XMIPOP -T BEACH DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE CLOS0G UP, VACATION, AND ABANDO10MNT OF A PART OF 32ND St^REET IN THE CITY OF NTEWPO'RT BEACH, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, pursuant to the Ii 1 l provisions of the °Street Vacation Act of 194111, approvdd May 13, 1941, Statu 1941, Chapter 250 and amendments thereto, being Division 9, Part 3, Chapters 2 and 3, Sections 8320 to 8331, inclusive, Streets and Highways Code, do hereby ordain, resolve and declare as follows. SECTION It That the public interest and convenience require the closing up and abandonment of a part of a street in the City of Newport Beach, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Newport Beach to order the following described part of a street in said City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to be vacated, closed up and abandoned, to wit: Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot 30, Block 530, Lancaster's Addition to Newport Beach, as shown upon a map of said Tract recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 5, Page 14, Records of Orange County, California; thence northerly along the northerly prolongation of the westerly line of said hot 30 a distance of (11) eleven feet to the beginning of a curve concave to the south east, having a radius of (15) fifteen feet; thence along said curve a distance of 23.56 feet through a central angle of 900 to a point, said point being in a line 26 feet measured at right angles northerly of and parallel to the northerly lines of Lots 30 to 14 inclusive of said Block 530;. thence easterly along said parallel line to the beginning of a curve concave to the southwest having a radius of (40) forts,* feet, said curve also being tangent to the easterly line of Lot 14 of said Block 530; thence along said curve to an intersection with the northerly line of said Lot 14; thence westerly along the northerly line of said Lots 14 to 30 inclusive to the point of beginning. Said part of said street to be vacated, closed up and abandoned, is more clearly shown on a certain man approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Neomort Beach for said vacation, closing up and abandonment, by Resolution dated May 9, 1949 and designated "Resolution No. 3&S4 ". Reference is hereby made for further particulars as to the proposed vacation, closing up and abandonment of said part of said street, to said man, and said map is made a part of this Resolution to the same extent and purpose as if the sang were herein incorporated in full. SECTION 2: That the proceedings for the closing up and abandonment r W • • 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 . 9� of the aforesaid part of said street shall be had and taken, and the City Council of the City of Newport Beach elects to proceed under the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 194111, approved May 13, 1941, Statutes 1941, Chapter 250 and amendments thereto, being Division 9, page 3, Chapters 2 4nd 3, Sections 8320 to 8331, inclusive, Streets and Highways Code. SECTION 3: The Street Superintendent of the City of Newport Beach shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of the part of said street proposed to be vacated, not more than 300 feet apart, but not less than three in all, notices of the vacation of said part of said street. Said notices shall state the 'Passage of this Resolution of Intention and the time and place of the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation of said part of said street, all as required by law. SECTION 4: Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby fi°. Monday, the 27th day. of June, 1949, at the hour of seven— thirty P.M. of said day, in the Council Chambers of the City of Newport Beach, located in the City Hall in the City of Newport Beach, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed-vacation of said part of said street. And the said City Council at said time and place will hear the evidence offered by any person interested in the vacation of said part of said street heretofore described. SECTION 5: This Resolution of Intention shall be published at least once in the Newport — Balboa Press, a newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in the City of Newport Beach, and said publication shall be made before the date set for the hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
