RESOLUTION OF THY CITY COUNCIL OF HE CITY OY NEiMM
ORR
WHEREAS, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the improvement of 32nd
Street is the City of Newport Beach. heretofore dndy given, sealed propo was
and bids thereof where duly raoeived and, at the time and place sot for said
parpea, duly opessd and it appearing that the lowest regular and responsible
bidder is Cox Brothers Construction 40"ny, a copartnership; and
WERZAS. there has been duly presented to the City Council of the City
of Newport Beach, a certain agreement dated the 9 .day of �, 1949. by
and between said Cos Brothers Construction Company and the City of Newport
Beach, providing for said improvement of said 32nd Street;
MV -TARE DEE. BE IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said Cox Brothers Cone-
tuctien Company for said 1wrovem®nt of 32nd Street, in the City of Newport
Beach for the total am of $6,264.25 be and the same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLTM, that said contract for said eonstruction in
accordance with the plans and specifications on file with the City Clerk of said
City at said price of $6,264.23 be an4 the same is hereby awarded to said Cox
Brothers Construction Company; and
BE IT FURTHER RSSOLMM. that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they
are hereby authorised and instructed to execute said agreement in the name of
and for and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach and that the City Clerk
furnish a duly executed copy thereof to said Cox Brothers Construction Company.
The abeve and foregoint resolution was duly and regalarly passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 9th day of May, 1949, by the following vote; to wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 3691 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said
City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the
9th day of May 1949, by the following
