Home My WebLink About3702 - Compensation and Salaries1 2 • 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 • 28 29 30 31 32 COPY ti3 RESOLUTION NO. 3702 WHEREAS, it is necessary under the law for the City Counc . of the City of Newport Beach to fix the salaries of all appointive officials and employees of the City of Newport Beach; and WHEREAS, the Compensation and Salaries of said appointive officials and employees have heretofore been fixed by Resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach desires to change some of said salaries in certain particulars. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Newport Beach does hereby fix and determine that the salaries of all appointive officials and employees of the City of Newport Beach shall be effective July 1, 1949. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other Resolutions of the City of Newport Beach fixing salaries of appointive officials and employees of the City of Newport Beach, be, and they are hereby rescinded and declared of no further force or effect for any purpos whatever. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amounts set opposite the jnames of the appointive officials and employees, shall be deemed to I be, and shall be monthly salaries, payable semi - monthly on the 10th and 25th of each month following the semi - monthly period in which they shall be earned.
