1 I WRWMAS. there has this day been presents& to the City Council of
2 the City of Newport Beach an agreement dated the 18th day of July, 1944 by
3 and between the State Personnel Board, party of the first part, and the
4 City of Newport Beach, a manloipal corporation, as party of the second part;

6 11 VBBR&AS. it appears to be for the best interests of the City of
7 11 Newport Beach that said agreement be entered into between said parties;
8 NOM, TR FOBS, BE If BBSOLYBii. that the Mayor of the City of
9 Newport Beach and the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be and they
10 hereby are directed and authorised to execute on behalf of the City of Newport
11 Beach an agreement dated the 11th day of July, 1949, by and between the State
12 Personnel Bosrdpas party of the first part. and the City of Newport Beach,
13 ss party of the second part, which said agreement provides for the perforsiaa
14 by the $fate Personnel Board of services incidental to the preparation,
15 construction and rating of examinations for classification all upon the
16 tern, conditions and provisions as in said agreement more particularly
17 set forth;

19 be delivered to said State Personnel Board.
20 The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly passed
21 and adopted by the City Council of City of Newport Beach at a regular
