1 II NHIPdiN'AS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach deems
2 it for the beet interest of the City of Newport Beach to acquire for
3 public purposes the real property hereinafter more partioularly desoribed;
4 11 and
5 WMMAS, Charles D. Buckman purports to be the legal owner of
6 said real property and offers to sell said 1roperty to the City of Newport
7 Beach for the total sum of Seventeen Hsadred Dollars {1700.00); and
8 I WH M=g Ralph P. Maskey, a licensed real estate broker, was

9 heretofore retained by the City of Newport Beach to acquire for said City
10 odd real property and said offer of Bale was obtained through the services
11 of said Ralph P. Maskey; and
12 wR7IMS, the City of Newport Beach deems said price of $$1,700.00
13 to be the fel.r markal valu0 of said real ro er

14 NON, THFiaME, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Newport Beach

accept the otter of Charles A. Buckman to sell to the City of Newport Beach
16 the real property situate in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
17 State of California and more particularly described as Lot 1, Block 332,
18
Canal Section is said City of Newport Beach;
19 BE IT FURTRQ RESOLVED, that the City of Newport Beach pay to
20 said Charles D. Buckman the sum of $1,700.00; and
21 BR IT YMTRRR RESOLVED, that the City Attorney be and he hereby
22
is authorized to make, execute and sign in behalf of the City of Newport
23 ,
Beach, escrow instructions by the terms of which there shall be deposited

In escrow the sum of $1,700.00 by the City of Newport Beach upon conditionq

that said Charles D. Buckman make, execute and deliver a good and sufficient

grant dead conveying to the City of Newport Beach the said real property

II together with a certificate of title showing title to said real property

vested in the City of Newport Beach subject only to couditione, restrictions,

reservations and rights of way of record; and

BE PP FUATM RESOLVED, in full payment of the services of said

2 The above and foregoing resolution was duly passed and adopted
