RESOLUTTON ORDERING WORK NO. 3824
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH,
CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE I4ORK
DESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 3819.
The City Council of the City of Newport Beach, California,
pursuant to the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911 ", being
Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, DOES RESOLVE as follows:
That the public interest and convenience require the work
hereinafter mentioned to be done, and therefore, the said City
Council hereby orders the following work to be done and improve-
ments to be made in said City, to -wit:
The grading, paving with plant mix material, installation of
house sewer and crater connections, furnishing of corrugated metal
pipe for storm drain, and appurtenant work in connection there,�,>ith
in certain alleys in the City of Newport Beach lying between
Eleventh Street and Nineteenth Street, all as more particularly
described in Resolution of Intention No. 3819, passed and adopted
by the City Council of said City on the 24th day of July, 1950 and
on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City.
For further particulars, reference is hereby made to said
Resolution of Intention No. 3819 and to the plans, profiles and
drawings No. 428, consisting of 4 sheets, on file in the office of
the City Engineer of said City of Newport Beach, and to the
specifications for the said work heretofore adopted by the said
City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk of said
City, and all of said plans, profiles, drawings and specifications
heretofore approved by the City Council of said City are
incorporated herein and made a part hereof, and reference is hereb
made thereto for a more particular description of s,.id ,.cork.
Said City Council has determined and declared that the

111 contemplated work and improvement heretofore mentioned was, in the
2 opinion of said City Council, of more than local or ordinary
3 public benefit and the said City Council has made the expenses of
4 said work chargeable upon a district. For the oarticulr
5 description of said district, reference is hereby made to said
6 Resolution of Intention No. 3819.
7 Said City Council has determined and declared that serial.
8 bonds, bearing interest at the rate of six per cent (6') Der .,z;i „m
9 and extending over a period ending nine (9) years from the secone
10 day of January next succeeding the next October 15th following
11 their date, krill be issued hereunder in the manner provided by
12 the 'Improvement Act of 1911 ", being Part 5, Division 7 of the
13 Streets and Vi_ahwgys Code of the State of California, to r-;zpres-::�nt..
14 each assessment of 7rienty -five Dollars ($25.00) or more remai-nina
15 unpaid for thirty (30) days after the date of recording the
16 warrant.
17 All of the work herein ordered shill be done and carried
18 through in pursuance of an act of the legislature of the State of
19 California, designated the "Improvement Act of 1911 ". Division 7
20 of the Streets and P.ighways Code.
21 The Clerk of said City i_shereby directed to post conspicuousl}
22 for five (5) days on or near the chamber door of the City Co,m ci_i.,

in the manner and form required by said Code, a Notice inviting
Sealed Proposals or Bids for doing the work herein ordered, Ond
the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish twice in the "Newport-
26 Balboa Press ", a weekly newspaper published and circulated in
27 said City and hereby designated by the said City Council for that
28 purpose, a notice inviting such proposals or bids for doing the
29 said work and referring to the specifications on file.
30 PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
31 Newport Beach, C.lifornia, at a regular meeting thereof held on t
32 28th day of August, 1950 by the following vote, to -wit:
