AEBQLV OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF M14ft, OF NEWPORT BEACH
AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR 1W,PAVINa OF THE CORPORATION YARD
AND AUTNORIZIRU EXEGMOX OF AN ACX°.EF:MM THEREFOR
WNERYAGO pursuant to notice inviting bids for is
paving of the Corporation Yard, heretofore duly given, sealed
proposals and bids theraje were duly received anti, at the time
and place set for said purpose, duly opened and it appearing
that the lowest regular and responsible bidder is gully- Hiller
Contracting Company, a corporation; and
WMMEMO ther# bas been duly presented the City Counca
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement bated August
29, 1950, by W between said bully - miller Contracting Company
and the City of Newport Beach, providing for the paving of said
Corporation Yard,
XOW# TXEREFOR3, NS IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said
Sully - Miller Contracting Company for the paving of said Corpor-
ation Yard, for the total sum of $60720.00, be, and the same is
hereby, accepted; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said contract for said
construction in accordance with the plans and specifications on
file with the City Clerk of said City at said price of $6,720.00
be, and the same is hereby, awarded to said Sully - Miller Contrac-
tiA,g Companyi andr
DE IT FURTHM RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby, authorized and instructed to sze-
cuts said agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach and that the City Clerk furnish a duly ex-
souted copy thereof to said Sully - Miller Contracting Company.
The above and foregoing :Resolution was duly and regu-
larly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the - day
