WHEREAS, there has beee.presented to the City Council

of the City of Newport Beach the verified petition of the Newport
•

Harbor Union High School District seeking to have a portion of the
4
property of the said High School District annexed to the City of
5
Newport Beach; and
6
WHEREAS; it appears to be for the best interests of the
7
citizens of the City of Newport Beach and for the beet Interests
8
of said Newport Harbor Union High School district to grant said
9
petition;
10
NOWT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the said petition
11
of the Newport Harbor Union High School District seeking annexation
12
of a portion of the said District to the City of Newport Beach be
13
granted, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach
14
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to take all neces-
15
sary steps to execute said annexation, specifically including the
16
filing of a petition by the City of Newport Beach with the Honora-
17
ble Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange.
18
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly passed and
19
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of New -
20
port Beach held on the 10{6, day of December, 1951, by the following
21
vote, to —wit.

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 3922 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said
City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the
