RESOLUTION NO. 3925
WHEREAS, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the installing
of approximately 1,700 lineal feet of 24 inch reinforced concrete
cylinder pipe, heretofore duly given, sealed proposals and bids
thereof were duly received and, at the time and place set for
such purpose, duly opened, and it appearing that the lowest
regular and responsible bidder is J. S. Barrett, an individual;
and
WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach, a certain agreement dated the 26th
day of November, 1951, by and between J. S. Barrett and the City
of Newport Beach, providing for said installing of approximately
1,700 lineal feet of 24 inch reinforced concrete cylinder pipe;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said bid of said J.
S. Barrett for said installation of said approximately 1,700
lineal feet of 24 inch reinforced concrete cylinder pipe for the
total sum of $2.09 per lineal foot and the same is hereby
awarded to said J. S. Barrett; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and instructed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of
Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk furnish a duly executed
copy thereof to said J. S. Barrett.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by�the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of
November, 1951, by the following vote, to -wit:
