RESOLUTION NO. 3934
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, an Agreement dated the
28th day of January, 1952, by and between the City of Newport
Beach and the Cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton, Orange,
the La Habra Sanitary District, Placentia Sanitary District,
Buena Park Sanitary District, Garden Grove Sanitary District,
and
WHEREAS, said Agreement provides for the rental by the City
of Newport Beach of the facilities of the other parties to the
Contract, said facilities consisting of the joint outfall sewer;)
and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
citizens of the City of Newport Beach that said Agreement be
entered into;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Newport
Beach enter into said Contract with said other parties and that
the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be,
and they are hereby, directed and authorized to execute in
behalf of the City of Newport Beach, said Agreement of January
28, 1952;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a duly executed copy or copies,
of said Agreement be delivered to said other parties to the
Contract.
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 28th day of
January, 1952, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Finch, Ramsey, Greeley,
Blue, Isbell
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
