PROVISIONS OF THE AW,- ZUTION ACT OF 1913.
WUERSAS, George H, Stricker and others have petitioned the
City of Newport Beach for its consent to the annexation of certain
property general].$ bounded on the northwesterly by Newport Boulevar
on the northeasterly by 15th Street$ and on the south and south-
westerly by the City Boundary of the City of Nevport Beach$ in the
County of Orange, State of California, contiguous to the present
City boundaries of the.City of Hew.ort Beach, under the provisions
of the Annexation Act of 19139 and,
VTIEREAS, the Orange County Boundary Commission did, on
September 14th, 19531,apprcve the definiteness and certainty of.
the proposed boundaries of the said property proposed to be
and$
4:'iS FAS, the planning Com;iission of the City of No,.-,port
Beach did, on October 15th, -1953: give its approval and recommend-
ation to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach for the
proposed annexation of said property;
NUW, THtTO'ORE, BY, IT iMOLVrDj that the City Council of
City of Newport Beach does hereby consent to the proposed annexat-
ion of said Strieker area under the provisions of the Annexation
Act of 1913, and hereby further consents that the proponents of
said annexation sha13 proceed with the steps necessary under said
Annexation Act of 1913,
The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
at a regul�:r meeting ti ereo4, held ran the 26th day of October,
19539 by the following vote, to -wit:
