AUTHORIZING aECUTION Of CORPORATION GRANT DEED
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a certain corporation Grant used wherei:
and whereby the City of Newport Beach deeds to the Pacific
Electric Railway Company, a California Corporation, all that cer-
tain real property in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows%
Beginning at the most Easterly corner of that parcel
of land granted to Jessie R. Marble and Stanley R.
Marble by deed recorded in Book 1050 Page 422
Official Records of Orange County, State of Califor-
nia t July 139 1940; thence Northwesterly along the
Northeasterly line of said parcel to its intersection
with a line 25 feet Northeasterly of measured at
right angles to and parallel with, the Northeasterly
line of Balboa boulevard (formerly Coast Boulevard,
and formerly Bay Avenue) as shown upon a Map of Lake
Tract, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 4 Page
13; thence Southeasterly along said parallel line
to its intersection with the Southeasterly line of
said parcel; thence Northeasterly along said South-
easterly line to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT TO all matters of record.
AND WHEREAS, it appears for the best interests of the
citizens of the City of Newport Beach and of the above mentioned
grantees that said Corporation Grant Deed be executed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby, di-
rected, instructed and authorized to execute said Corporation
Grant Deed in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
No. 4181 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
held on the 23rd day of November, 1953, by the following roll cal:
