RESOLUTION NO. 4181 -A
ACCEPTING HIGHWAY EASEIMNT
SAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
City of Newport Beach a certain highway easement by the Psolfio
Llectrio Railway Company. a California corporation, wherein and
whereby the Pacific Zleotrio Railway Company grants to the City
Newport Beach the right to construct and maintain a highway upon
and across that certain parcel of land situated in the City of N,
port Beach, County of Orange, State of California, and lying wit;
the railroad right of way of the Pacific Electric Railway Company,
as described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of that
parcel of land granted to Jessie R. Marble and
Stanley R. Marble by deed recorded in Book 1050,
Page 422, Official Records of Orange County, State
of California, July 13, 1940; thence Southeasterly
along the Northeasterly line of said parcel to its
Intersection with a line 25 feet Northeasterly of,
measured at right angles to, and parallel with, the
Northeasterly line of Balboa Boulevard (formerly
Coast Boulevard, and formerly Bay Avenue) as shown
upon a map of Lake Tract, recorded in Miscellaneous
Daps, Book 4, Page 13; thence Northwesterly along
said parallel line to its intersection with the
Southerly line of Lot 1, Block 131, of said Lake
Tract; thence Northwesterly along said Southerly
line to the most Westerly corner of said Lot 1;
thence Southwesterly along the Southwesterly pro-
longation of the Southeasterly line of 32nd Street,
as shown on said Map of Lake Tract, to its inter-
section with the Southeasterly prolongation of the
Northeasterly line of the aforementioned Balboa
Boulevard of said Lake Tract; thence Southeasterly
along said prolongation to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT TO conditions contained therein.
AND WHEREAS, it appears for the beet interests of the olti-
tens of the City of Newport Beach to accept said highway easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, Far: IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport BEcoh be, and they are hereby direct
Instructed and authorized to accept gold highway easement in the
name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach and the same
Is hereby ordered recorded.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
No. 4181 -A was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof
