declaring its intention to order the closing up, vacation and

Abandonment of a certain alley between agia and and Grant Streets

I in the City of Newport Beach, hereinafter more particularly do-

l scribed, pursuant to and in accordance viih the ":treat Vacation

Act of 1941" and all amendments thereto, being Sections 83GU

through 8331 of the V'alifornia Streets and Highways Code; and

Beach has caused to be posted conspicuously along the .portion of

said alley proposed to be vacated, not more than NO feet apart,

and not less than 3 in all, notices of the vacat_�on of said portie

of said alley, all of .which will zoo :re fully appear from the affi-

davit of L. " ". Covert, the said Street Guperintendent of the City

of Newport Heath, on file in these proceedings; and

the evidence submitted that said portion of seed alley described
in said T`esolution of Intention, arc hereinafter described, is
unnecessary for present or prospectivo L ;ubiic street or alley pur
poses;

Beach finds and determines and heroby orders tlkat the following
described certain alley in tho City of 11'cwport Beach, described
as follows.
Beginning at the most northerly corner of
Lot 3, Block 10, of said Tract Rao. 772; thence
southwesterly along the northwesterly lines of
Lots 3, 21 and 1, of said Mock 1C, end along
the northwesterly lines of Lots 3, 7, 6, 5, 41
and Lot 3. of Block 10, of said 15easnore Colony
Tract to a point 15 feet southwesterly of the
most northerly corner of said Lot 3' thence
northwesterly on a line parallel with and dis-
tant 15 feet southwesterly from the northeast-
erly line of said Lot 3 to o point In the
southeasterly Line of Lot 14 of Block IC of
said Seashore.Golony Tract; thence nortlieasterly
along the southeasterly lines of Lots 149 13,
12, 11, 1C, and y, of 81ocL: 1C of said Loashore
Colony Tract, and along the southeasterly line
of hots 5 and 1r of Block 1C of said Tract No. 772,
to the most easterly corner of said Lot 4s thence
southeasterly in a straight line to ti.e point of
beginnings
Is unnecessary for present or prosreetive public street or alley
purposes, and now makes its order vacating said portion of said
alley above described.
The City Council. further orders that the City Clerk of the
City of Newport Beach shall cruse a certified copy of this Grder,
