HomeMy WebLinkAbout4323 - Access to Corona del Mar State Beach- . ►W- - - 1 I2I 3 4. 5 s 7 8' s 10 11 12. 13 14 15 16 17 18 1$. :20 21 22 .23 24 25 26 27 . 28 zs 30 31 32 118smunm Nz o . 4323 WHSASAS,- the present4cceso to the Corona del Mar State Beach in the City of Newport Beach has become inadequate; and WHEREAS, the public interest and convenience requires that an additional city street be opened for access to the Corona del Mar State Beach in the City of Newport Beach to alleviate the present and future traffic congestion in this area; and WHERFJiS, the Corona del Mar State Beach is open to the public and to the citizens of orange County; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Newport Beach passed a Resolution of intention #4284 on the Sth day of November, 1954 wherein the following described property was to be made a public street for the principal route of access between ocean Boulevard and the Corona .del Mar State Beach: Parcel Is A portion of Block A -34 as shown upon a map of Corona del Mar, recorded in Miscellaneous Maps Book 3, Pages 41 and 42, Records of orange County, California, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at.the most easterly corner of said Block A -34 thence north 760' 02+ 22" West along the norhterly line of said Block A -34, a distance of 139.05 feet to the most easterly corner of that certain parcel of land described in deed recorded November 17, 1948 in Deed Book 1761, page 201, Official Records of said Orange County; thence south 390 55' 45" West along the southeasterly line of said parcel, a distance of 58.17 feet; thence south 140 48' 51" east a distance of 79.60 feet; thence south 5W 04* 1511, east a distance of 60 feet to an intersection with the southeasterly line of said Block A -34; thence north 390 55' 45" east along said southeasterly line and distance of 165' to the point of beginning. State of California, be requested to allocate $13;251.00 from the said County Highway Users Gas Tax - Aid to City - funds for the acquisition and openin" of the ,above mentioned access P"o to,the Corona del Mar State Beach.
