1 RESOLUTION NO. 4331
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING BUDGET AND
3 APPROVING MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR
EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR
4 MAJOR CITY STREETS
5 WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement has been presented
6 to be entered into with the State of California in accord-
7 ance with a project statement submitted by the City of
8 Newport Beach for expenditure of the gas tax allocation to
9 cities for the fiscal year 1956, and
10 WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agreement
11 in full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
12 THEREFORE9 be it resolved by the city council of the
13 City of Newport Beach that said project statement be and it
14 is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of
15 the gas tax allocation to citiiesq and said agreement be and
16 the same is hereby approved and the mayor and the city clerk
17 are directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, said
18 agreement to be binding upon the City upon its execution by
19 the authorized officials of the State.
