HomeMy WebLinkAbout4364 - Seaquist AnnexationRESOLUTION NO. 4364 lI 2 A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF A COPY OF NNOTICE OF INTENTION Tri CIRGULATR PETITION FOR 3 TILE AhVEXATIUN OF TERRITORY DrSIGNATM AS SEAQUIST AIiNEX Atli AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND 4 APPROVING TKE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION. 5 WlERE,,&6, on August 129 1955, there was filed with the 8 City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach a copy of Notice of 7 Intention to circulate petition relating to an:exation of certain 8 territory to the City of Newport Beach under the Annexation Act 9 f 1913 pertaining to territory designated as Seaquist Annex 10 ecompanied by a written statement containing reasons for the 11 etition together with an affidavit of publication of said notice 12 n the 3d day of August, 1955, in the Newport Harbor News Pres3i 13 1: WHEREAS, the Act of 1913 provides that the egislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of 18 he notice approving the circulation of the petition; 17 NOW, THM.AEFORE, BE IT BESOLVLD by the City Council of 18 ewport Beach that the receipt of the notice, statement and af- 19 idavit aforesaid be and the same is acknowledged, and that ap- 20 oval be and hereby is given for the circulation of the petition 21 r annexation of that certain territory designated as Seaquist 22 ex twenty -one days after the publication of said notice and 23 atement. 24.
