RESOLUTION ;.0. 4387
WHEMEAS, the recommendation of the Planning Commission
lotion of Intention 140: 593 to amend Section 9105,4 of the
cipal Code of the City of gewport Beach to read 'as followss
5 Paragraph (a) "Fxchitectural features such as cornices, eaves,
6 and canopies may extend not exceeding two and one -hai_f (2j feet)
7 ihto any required front or rear yard setback "; Paragraph (b) "Alone
8 of the above mentioned architectual features may encroach within
9 two (2) feet of any side lot line, Fireplaces and Chimneys not to
10 exceed nine (9) feet in width, constructed of incombustible material
11 may encroach to a distance of two feet from the side line providim
12 the other sideyard setback in the same building site is kept clear
13 as a passageway"., had been submitted to the City Council at its
14 meeting of September 12, 1955;
15 ROW, THEREFORE, BE IT R& ;UVED Ma' ORDERED, that the City
18 Clerk be directed to publish in the legal newspaper a notice of
17 public hearing on October 10, 1955, at the hour of 7:30 P,M, in the
18 Council Chambers of.the City Hall, as to whether or not this afore -
19 4id proposed amendment should be adopted,
20 The above and foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly
21 passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
