HIGHWAY OVER LOT 24, BLOM 91 TRACT NO- 27 IN THE

kiMr,F.A61 the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
certain map showing certain public highway which the City of
Newport Beach proposes to vacate, close up and abandon, being that
certain portion of public highway over Lot 24, Block 9, Tract No.
27, and vacated street adjoining on the West, which said public
highway is more particularly described as follows, to wits
A triangular shaped parcel of land being a portion
of that portion of Lot 249 block 99 and vacated
street adjoining on the west as shown upon a map
of Tract No. 27 recorded in Miscellaneous Map Bonk.
91 page 26t Records of Orange County, State of Calif-
ornia, that was granted to the State of California
for a public highway and described in deed recorded
in Bock 809, page 861, Official Records, Records of
Orange County California, and more particularly
described as 1011owss
Beginning at a point in the northwesterly line of
the 80 toot °.trip of land described in deed from
Jobs J. Moranton et al to the County of Orange re-
corded in Hook 729 page 131 of Official Pecoras of
said Orange County, which point is the southerly
and of that certain tangent course in said north-
westerly line having a length of 157.44 feet and a
bearing of South 340 59' 35" west; thence from said
point of beginning South 34° 59' 35" West along the
southwesterly prolongation of said tangent course
a distance of 297.75 feet to a point in the center
line of that certain 40' foot street adjoining said
Lot 24 on the nest as vacated by the Board of Super-
visors of said Orange County, a certified copy of
which order is recorded in Book 286 page 273 of
Official Records, records of said Orange County
thence South 80° 40' 10" East a distance of 32 feet;
thence North 290 48' 42" East to a point of inter-
section with the said northwesterly line of the
afore - mentioned 80 foot strip of land, said point
of intersection being in a curve concave to the
Southeast and having a radius of 1040 feet; thence
northeasterly along said curve and said.northwest-
erly line to the point of beginning.

Newport Beach is hereby ordered and directed to file the same in
the proceedings for the abandonment of said public highway and
that said map be used in connecti7n with the Resolution of Inten-
tion this day passed in reference to the abandonment of said
public highway,
The above and foregoing resolution was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Newport Beach, held on the 27th day of December, 1955, by the
following vote, to Brits

ing to the records of the City of Newport Beach filed and
maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No.
4424 was duly and regularly adopted, passed, and
approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City
Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 27th day of December , 19 55, by the
following vote, to wit:
