RESOLUTION No. 4457
WHEREAS, pursuant to Notice Inviting Bids for the con-
struation of a concrete sheet pile groin 64 lin, ft. in length
and of a wood pile groin 31 lin. ft. in length, heretofore duly
given,"aled proposals and bids thereof were duly received and,
at the time and place set for ouch purpose, duly opened, and it
appearing that the lowest regular and responsible bidder is
Trautwein Brothers; and
SEAS, there has been duly presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach, a certain agreement dated
the day of March, 1956, by and between Trautwein Brothers
and the City of Newport Beach providing for the construction of
the above described items;
NOW, THB.REEORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said bid of said
Trautwein Brothers for the sum of $4,680.00 be accepted and the
same is hereby awarded to Trautwein Brothers; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agree-
ment in the name of and for and on behalf of the City of Newport
Beach, and that the City Clerk furnish a duly executed copy thereo
to said Trautwein Brothers.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regular-
ly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of March,
1956, by the following vote, to wit:
