RESOLUTION NO. —
VHEREAS, the City of 'Newport Beach did, on September
1952, enter into a Service Concession Agreement with Thomas W.
and Lucile S. Patterson, covering certain premises on the
Corona del Mar Beach State Park; and
WHiEMAS, said agreement has heretofore been assigned by
Thomas V. and Lucile S. Patterson to N. Judson and Marion I.
Palmer; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the lessee may not
assign said agreement without the consent of the City's Newport
Beach; and
WHEREAS, it appears that N. Judson and Marion I. Palmer
are desirous of assigning their interest in and to said agreement
to Leon and VArl J. Poudrier and have asked the City of Newport
Beach to consent to said assignment; and
WIMMAS, it appears to be for the best interests of the
aitltzens of the City of Newport Beach that said consent be given=
1901!, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach that the City of Newport Beach give consent
to the assignment by N. Judson Palmer and Marion I. Palmer to
Leon Poudrier and Mary J. Poudrier of all of their interest in
said Service Concession Agreement of September 8, 1952, provided
that the assignee maintain fire insurance, public liability and
property damage policies, naming the City of Newport Beach as a
party in such amounts as are determined by the City Alanager and
the City Attorney;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this assignment is sub.
3eet to the approval of the State of California;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorised and directed to
execute a consent to such assignment.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
