RESOLUTION N0. 4490
WHEREAS : "pursu4 td notice Inviting Bids for the con-
struction-. of a comfort Station .near the Balboa Pier and
appurtenances thereto heretofore duly given, sealed proposals
and bids therefor were duly received and, at the time and place
set:for said purpose, duly opened, and it appearing that the
lowest and regular and responsible bidder is R. L. Steinmetz;
and
W.REREAS,.there has been duly presented to the City
Council of :the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated
May 11+, 1956, by.and between said R. L. Steinmetz and the
City of Newport Beach providing for said improvements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that said 'bid of said
R. L. Steinmetz for said construction of a comfort station and
appurtenances thereto for the total sum of $11,827.00 be and the
same is hereby accepted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said contract for said con-
struction in accordance with the plans and specifications on file
with the City Clerk of said City at said price of $11,827.00 be,
and the same is hereby, awarded to said R. L. Steinmetz; and
.BE IT .FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and instructed to execute said
Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf of the t•ity of
Newport Beach and that the City Clerk furnish a.duly executed
copy thereof to said A. L. Steinmetz,
The above and.foregoing Resolution #+1+90 was duly and
regularly passed.and adopted by the City Council. of the City of
New Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day
of May, 19569 by the following roll call vote, to wit:
