RESOLUTION NO. 6y92
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City or New-
port Beach a certain Grant of Easement to the,80thern California
Edison Company covering underground utility services to,the
City's municipal trailer park, said property being situated in
the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California,
and described as follows, to snit,
Said underground conduits shall be installed and main-
tained within twelve (12) strips of land, each four (4)
feet in width, lying within Lot 4 in Section 33r Township
Six South, Range Ten nest, San Bernardino Base and Meridian;
which Is northerly of that certain alley being northerly of
Blocks 115. 116 and 117 of Tract 1/234, as shown on a. map
recorded in Book 13, pages 36 and 37 of Mecellsaneous Maps,
Records of Orange County, and lying between the center lines
of Fifteenth Street and Eighteenth Street, as said streets
are shown on said map; the center line of said strips shall
be coincidental with the center lines of such conduits as
may be installed; the approximate locations are described
as followst
1. Beginning at the intersection of the soufterly line
of said 81ley and the easterly line of said 18th Street, thei
North 54 east 63 feet.
2. Beginning at a point, hereinafter referred to as
Point "A ", located on the southerly line of said alley,
distant 150 feet easterly thereon fr2m+ the easterly line
of said 18th street, thence north 18 west 51 feet.
3. Beginning at said Point "A ", thence North 590 East
70 feet.
4. Beginning at a point, hereinafter referred to as
Point "B ", located on the southerly line of said alley,
distant 109 feet westerly thereon from the westerly line
of 17th Street, as now estaabllshed, thence north 5 west
48 feet.
5. Beginning at said Point "B ", thence North (60 east
83 feet.
6. Beginning at the intersection of the southerly line
of said alley, with the easterly line of said 17th street,
thence north 30 east 4, feet.
7. Beginning again at said last described point of
Intersection, thence north 5'70 east 85 feet.
8, Beginning at a point on said Southerly line,
distant 145 feet Easterly thereon from the Easterly
line of 17th Street, as now established, thence North
9° East 45 feet.
9. Beginning again at a point, hereinafter referred
to as Point "C ", distant 115 beet Westerly thereon from
the Westerly line of 16th Street, as now established, the
North 470 'hest. 65 feet.

10. Beginning at said Point "C ", thence North 180
1 East 47 feet.
2 11. Beginning, at the intersection of said Southerly
line, with the Easterly line of said 16th Street, thence
3 North 44° West 80 feet.
4 12. Beginning against at said last described point
of intersection, thence North 26° East 50 feet.

EXCEPTING from said strips, those portions lying, within
6 said alley, as -now established.

8 AND, WMFAS, it appears to be for the best interests of
9 the citizens of the City of Newport Beach to grant said Grant of
10 Easement to the Southern California Edison Company.
11 NOW, TiiERMRE, BE IT RESOLVEDs that the Mayor and the
12 City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to
13 execute said Grant of Easement on behalf of the City of Newport
14 Beach.
15 The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
16 passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport
17 Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the J*111 day of
18 3a'!1 , 1956, by the following roll call vote, to -wits
