WHEREAS', pursuant t:;Not.ce Inviting Bids for the construc-

tion:cf a comfort statiai ar Buck Gully Beach: in Corona del Mar

and appurtenances thereto heretofore duly given, sealed proposals

and bids.therefor; were duly received.and, at the time and place
5
set for said purpose,.duly. opened, and it appearing that the lowes
6
and regular and responsible bidder is R. L. Steinmetz; and,

WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Council
8
of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated June 11,
9
; ".15,56,.by` and between.,said.R. L.,Steinmetz and the City of Newport
10
Beach providing for said improvements;

NOW,-- THEREFORr,, BE IT RESOLVED3 that said bid of said R. L.
12
Steinmetz for said construction of a comfort station and appur-
13
tenances thereto for the total sum of $6025.00 be and the same is
14
hereby accepted; and,
15
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said contract for said con -
16
struction in accordance with the plans and specifications on file
17
with the City Clerk of said City at said price of $6,325.00 be, a
d.

the same is hereby, awarded to said R. L. Steinmetz; and,
19
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
20
and they are hereby, authorized and instructed to execute said
21
Agreement in the name of and for and on behalf o`' the City of
22
Newport Beach and that the .City Clerk furnish a duly executed cop
23
thereof to said R. L. Steinmetz.

The above and foregoing Resolution No. 4499 was duly and
25
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
26
Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held an the 11th day
27
of 'June, 1956, by the following roll Call vote, to -wit;
