W.HE ?tWSp the City Fsagineer of the City of Newport Borsch has
presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain map
showing a portion of certain streate and alleys which the City of Rouport
Beach proposed to vacate, close up, and abandon in Section H Newport Beach,
City of Newport Beach, County of Orar4s, States of California, and described
as follow®, to -mite
An of those portions of 16th Street and 17th Street and a
portion of that certain alley, 20 feet in width, as shoran upon
a map of Section B Newport Beach, recorded in Vincellaneous
papa Book 4# Page 27, Necords of Orange County, California and
more particularly described as followas
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Block 117 as
shown upon said reap of Section B Newport Beach, thence easterly
a7.ang the northerly liars of said Block 117 to the northeast
corner thereof; thence southerly along the easterly line of
said Block 117 to the southeast corner thereof; thence in a
straight line to the southwest corner of Block 116 as shown
upon a amp of Tract No. 2340 recorded in miscellaneous Maps
Boots 139 F4m 36 and 37, Records of Orange County, California;
thus northerly along, the masterly line of said Mock 116 to
the northwest corner thereof; thence sasterlyy along the northerly

southeasterly corner thereof thence in a straight line to the

and direotad to file the same in the procoadings for the abandonment of a
portion of said streets and alleys, and that said rap be used in connsetion
with the Assolution of Intention this day passed in reference to the
