WHEREAS, the land hereinafter described lying along
Balboa Boulevard was acquired in fee by the City by purchase; and
WHEREAS, there is presently the need for a public park
in thiserea of the Cityj and
WHEREAS# it would be for the best interests of the City
to appropriate and dedicate this land for public park purposes]
NOW, THEREBOREp BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the City -owned land located in the
City of Newport Beach, Orange County, California, described as
follows w
Beginning at the southwesterly Cotner of Lot 2,

Block , as shown upon a map of Section'B,
Newport Beach Trasat, retarded in Miscellaneous
]tap .Hook 4, Pap 27, records of Orange Coaaft,
Californiaj thence northeasterly a disteince of
lyingenortheasterly of$ parallel too# and distant
97 feet from the southwesterly line of said Block
117, and Block lib, and Block 1150 as shown upon
a slap of 'Treat No. 2340 recorded in Kincellaneous
Nap Book 13, Pagers 36 and 37, records of said
Orange County, to an intersection with a line
lying northwesterly of, parallel to, and distant
2D feet fraon the southeasterly line of Lot 11 of
said Block 1151 thence southwesterly aloes acid
parallel line to an intersection with the south -
westerly line of said Blook 115j thence north-
westerly along said southwesterly line and along
the southwesterly line of said Block 116 and
along the southwesterly line of the aforementioned

This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newwport Beach at a regular meeting on the Sth day of
Decembers 1958, by the following vote, to wits
