HomeMy WebLinkAbout5068 - Destruction of Certain RecordsWWC: c 8/10/ 9 (12) 1 RESOLUTION NO. —5r'60 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION • 3 OF CERTAIN RECORDS 4 5 WHEREAS, there are certain records, documents, instru- 6 ments, books and papers in the City Clerks office which are more 7 than five years old and are no longer required for any City busi- 8 ness; and 9 WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provides 10 that such records may be destroyed with the approval of the legis- 11 lative body; 12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is 13 I hereby authorized to destroy and the City Council approves of the 14 destruction of the records itemized and described in Exhibit °A" 151 attached hereto, said exhibit consisting of mimeographed pages 16 numbered 1 through 5 and typewritten pages numbered 6 through 11. 17 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the 18 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the day of 19 August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit: 20 AYES, COUNCILMEN: r �•Q�. ^. •..
