A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
COMMUNICATIONS AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
WHEREAS, the County of Orange owns, maintains and oper-
ates a communications system for public safety communications in
the police, fire and special emergency services; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to have said County establish
remote control facilities for the use of the City in the police
radio service and to have the same maintained under a licensed
supervising technician of the County; and
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach a communications agreement between the
County of Orange and the City of Newport Beach providing for such
remote control facilities and other facilities for police, fire
and special emergency radio service; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and equit-
able;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that said communications agreement be
approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute the same in the name of and for and on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the

August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5078 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 10th day of August , 19 59, by the following
vote, to wits
