• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
• 3 LEASE OF A CERTAIN OFFICE

5 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
6 the City of Newport Beach a certain lease by and between the City
7 of Newport Beach and Helen W. Henger whereby the City leases from
8 Helen W. Henger Office No. 1 in the business building commonly
9 known as 414 - 32nd Street, Newport Beach, for a period of ten
10 months commencing September 1, 1959, for the total sum of $400.00;
11 and
121 WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore considered the
13 terms and conditions of said lease and said terms and conditions

are reasonable and equitable;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
16
City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said lease in
17
the name of and for and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.

This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
19
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 24th day of
20
August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,

Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
23
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
24
ABSENT COUNCILMEN. None

• I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and waintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5080 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 24th day of August , 19 59, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddatd,
Hart, Lorenz, Savers.
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABbENT, COUNCILMEN: None
