RESOLUTION N0. 5082
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A CONTRACT WITH ORANGE COUNTY TO FURNISH
LIFEGUARD SERVICE
WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement under which the
City is to furnish lifeguard service to Harry Welch Park and be
reimbursed for the cost of doing so by the County of Orange; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and equi-
table;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 24th day of
August, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and :aaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5882 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 24th day of August 1959, by the following
vote, to wit:
