1 RESOLUTION NO. 5090
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A
3 QUITCLAIM DEED

5 WHEREAS, records in the County Recorder's office
6 indicate that the Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach on
7 February 28, 1936, executed a deed to the City of Newport Beach
8 conveying Lot 6 in Block 6 of Tract No. 772 in the City, as per
9 map recorded in Book 23, pages 5 and 6, of Miscellaneous Maps in
10 the office of the County Recorder of Orange County; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the deed was executed in error
12 or that the delinquency has subsequently been paid and the
13 encumbrance not removed; and
14 WHEREAS, it appears that the City does not now have any
15 interest in said lot and it would be proper to execute a quitclaim
16 deed releasing the apparent interest;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
18 the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
19 authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed releasing the
20 City's apparent interest in said lot to the owner or owners of
21 record.
221 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
23 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 14th day of
24 September, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
25 AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
26 Higbie, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
27 NOES, COUNCILMEN: None

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and ,aaintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5090 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 14th day of September f 19 59 by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
