HomeMy WebLinkAbout5095 - Destruction of Certain Records0 • WIC :me 9/23/5 (12) 1 ;@ESOLUTION N0. 5095 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING THE DESTRUCTION 3 OF CERTAIN RECORDS 4 5 W[IEREAS, there are certain records, documents, instru- 6 ments, books and papers in the City Clerk's office which are more 7 than five years old and are no longer required for any City busi 8 ness; and 9 WHEREAS, Section 34090 of the Government Code provides 10 that such records may be destroyed with the approval of the 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 legislative body; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to destroy and the City Council approves of the destruction of the records itemized and described in Exhibit `0A" attached hereto, said exhibit consisting of mimeographed pages numbered 1 through 4.
