NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING A REVISION OF PARAGRAPH • 16 IN THE LEASE RENTAL FORMS FOR MARINAPARK WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach approved a lease form for use in leasing the spaces in Marinapark by Resolution No. 4520 on July 23, 1956; and WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council that Paragraph 16 of said lease should be amended to authorize changes in the form of the lease as appear necessary for the proper administration of Marinapark; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby approves amending the form to cause Paragraph 16 to read: 1116. OPTION. Lessee shall have the option to renew this lease upon the same terms and conditions herein con- tained, or upon the terms and conditions that appear in a lease form hereafter adopted by the City Council to replace this form and be used for leasing the trailer spaces in Marinapark, with the exception of rental price. Said rental price upon renewal shall be determined at the discre- tion of the City Council of Newport Beach, but will be com- parable to rentals for similar trailer sites in the immediate vicinity within the Newport Marinapark. Lessee must give to lessor notice in writing of his intent to exercise his option at least sixty (60) days before the expiration date of said lease."
