III RESOLUTION NO. 5100
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP. SHOWING A
3 PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET KN%JN AS.46TH
STREET WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED,
4 CLOSED UP AND ABANDONED.

6 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
7 has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
8 certain map entitled "Proposed Vacation of a Portion of 46th St.
9 at Balboa Blvd.t°, Drawing No. L -2858, dated October 15, 1959,
10 showing a portion of said 46th Street in the City of Newport Beac
11 which the City is considering vacating, closing up and abandoning
12 and which portion is more particularly described as follows:
13 That portion of 46th Street in the City of Newport Beach
as shown upon a map of River Section, Miscellaneous Maps
14 Book 4, page 25, records of Orange County, California,
and more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the northwesterly
prolongation of the northeasterly line of Lot 16,
Block 45, of said River Section, and the north-
easterly prolongation of the northwesterly line of
said Lot 16; thence southwesterly along said north-
easterly prolongation a distance of 6.12 feet, more
or less, to its intersection with the northerly
line of said Lot-16; thence easterly along said
northerly '.line of Lot 16 to an intersection with
the aforementioned - northeasterly line of said Lot
16; thence northwesterly along the northwesterly
prolongation of said northeasterly line a distance
of 7.65 feet, more or less, to the point of begin
ping.
NOW, THEREFORE:, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is
hereby approved and adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
of said portion of said street.
This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 13th day of
October,

the foregoing Resolution No. 5100 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meet,5ing place thereof, on
the 13th day of October 9 ly 9, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Lorenz, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
