OF NE14PORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
3 DEMOLIT10I4 OF BUILDINGS AT CORONA DEL MAR.

5 WFiMEAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach h
6 determined that it is advisable to demolish certain buildings at
7 Corona Del Mar State Beach Pars; and
8 U9I-iEMAS, the total cost of such demolition work will not
9 exceed the sum of $3,000; and
10 WHEREAS, informal bids for such work were requested and
11 received, and it appears that the lowest responsible bidder there
12 is Young Wrecking Demolition ,Engineers;
13 Ngd$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Young
14 Wrecking Demolition Engineers in the amount of $2,600 be accepted
15 and that a contract for the demolition work be awarded to said
16
Young Wrecking Demolition Engineers.

BZ IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Nayor and City Clerk are
18
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract on behalf of
19
the City of Newport Beach for the demolition o: said buildings, said
20
work to be completed within ten days from the date of said contract,
21
in accordance with the bid, and that the City Clerk be directed to
22
furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.

This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
24
City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 13th day of
25
October, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:

Higbie, Stoddard, kart, Lorenz, Somers

NOES, COUNCILDEN: None

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 13th day of October 9 1959 9 by the following
