RE SOLU TICIJ NO. 2
A RESOLUTION OF TIM'CITY . COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH. AWARDING. A CONTRACT FOR THE
DEMCL-1,TION OF.BUILDINGS AT -CORCNA-DZL MAR.
STKIS .BEACH PARK - - -..
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach ha
determifted'that it is advisable to demolish certain buildings at
Corona Del Mar State Beach Park; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of such demolition work will not
exceed the sum of $3,000; and
WHEREAS, proposals for such work have been invited and t'L
proposal of B & YHouse Movers in the amount of $2,995 appears to
.be acceptable;
NCW$ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposal of B &
House Movers in the amount of $2,095 be accepted and that a contrac
for the demolition work be awarded to said B & Y Hous . e Movers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed.to execute a contract on.behalf of
the City of Newport Beach for the demolition of said buildings in
accordance with the proposal, and that the City Clerk be directed t
furnish an executed copy to 'B & Y House Movers.
This resolution was adopted:by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach at.a.regular meeting on the 5th day of
November, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES,- COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
Higbie-, Stoddard, Hart, Lorenz, Somers
HOES COUNCILMEN: None
