RESOLUTION NO. 5136
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR PAVING CITY
3 HALL PARKING LOT LOCATED BEHIND NEWPORT BEACH
CITY HALL, 3300.WEST NEWPORT BOULEVARD

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of paving the City Hall parking lot located behind
7 Newport Beach City Hall, 3300 West Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach
8 California, in accordance with the plans and specifications here -
9 tofore adopted, bids were received on the 22nd day of December,
10 1959, and publicly opened and declared; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 for such work is Griffith Company ;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
14 Griffith Company in the amount of $3,640.00 be accepted
15 and that the contract for the said work be awarded to said company.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
17 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
18 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
19 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
20 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
21 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
22 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 28th day of
23 December, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
24 AYES; COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, dtkinson,
25 Higbia, Stoddard, Hart, Somers,
26 NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
27 ABSENT COUNCILMEN: Lorenz

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5138 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 28th day of December , 19__52 , by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson, Higbie, Stoddard,
Hart, Somers
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
