`. 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE - DESIGN
• 3 AND CONSTRUCTION OF-TYPE IV,.YJMTAL.BUILDINGS AT
THE CITY .CORPORATION.YARD.LOCATED -AT 1492 SUPERIOR
4 AVENUE,

6 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
7 consisting of the design and construction of type IV, metal build -
8 ings at the City corporation yard located at 1492 Superior Avenue,
9 Newport Beach, California, in accordance with the plans and specifi
10 cations heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 21st day of
11 January, 1960, and publicly opened and declared; and
12 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
13 for such construction work is Miltimore, Inc.;
14 NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Miltimore,
15 Inc., in the amount of $10,321.00 be accepted and that the contract
16 for the construction work be awarded to said Miltimore, Inc.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
18 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
19 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
20 of Newport Beach, an d that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
21 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
22 This resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
23 City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting on the 25th day of
24 January, 1960, by the following vote, to wits
25 AYES, COUNCILMEN: Kingsley, Atkinson,
26 Higbie, Stoddard; Hart, Lorenz, Somers
27 NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
28 ABSENT COUNCILMEN° None

said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
