• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
• 3 CONSTRUCTION OF SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN MARINER'S
FAMILY PARK AT-IRVINE AVENUE.- DOVER DRIVE -
4 MARINERS DRIVE

6 GJHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
7 consisting of the construction of sprinkler system in Mariner's
8 Family Park at Irvine Avenue - Dover Drive - Mariners Drive, in
9 accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
10 bids were received on the 8th day of April, 1960, and publicly
11 opened and declared; and
12 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
13 for such construction work is Dew Rite Sprinkler Company;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Dew Rite
15 Sprinkler Company in the amount of $7,441 be accepted and that the
16 1contract for the construction work be awarded to said Dew Rite
17 Sprinkler Company.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
19 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
20 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
21 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
22 an executed copy to the successful bidder.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of April 19 60 , by the following
vote, to wit:

Hart, Lorenz, Somers
