RESOLUTION N0. 4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH PROHIBITING OVERNIGHT PARKING
WHEREAS, Section 3292.3 is being added to the Municipal
Code by Ordinance No. 922 which is scheduled to become effective on
July 13, 1960; and
WHEREAS, said section provides that the City Council may
by resolution designate the streets on which overnight parking is
prohibited; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit overnight parking as
hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that parking shall be pro-
hibited between 10 P. M. and 6 A. M. on Marine Avenue between Park
Avenue and North Bay Front each day during the period beginning at
10 P. M. on July 13 and ending at 6 A. M. on September 12 each year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms of this resolution
shall be operative at the time Ordinance No. 922 becomes effective.
