A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH FIRING THE SALARY
OF THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
has the power and duty to establish the salary of the City Clerk;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5040 established the salary of
City Clerk beginning July 1, 1959;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that effective July 1,
1960, Resolution No. 5040 be rescinded and that the salary of the
City Clerk beginning July 1, 1960, shall be $7,800 per fiscal
year, payable in monthly, semimonthly, or biweekly installments
as is most convenient in the ordinary course of the preparation.of
the City's payroll.
ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1960.
