• 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A-GRANT -DEED

4 WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporatioi
5 has executed a grant deed dated June 23, 1960, granting to the
6 City of Newport Beach an easement for water pipe line purposes in
7 and under the real property in the City of Newport Beach, County
8 of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
9 Beginning in a line parallel with and distant
southeasterly 40 feet, measured at right angles,
10 from the Northwesterly boundary of Block 50,
Irvine's Subdivision., per map recorded in Book 1,
11� page 88`, Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County,
California, at a point distant thereon North
12� 39 Q 48 15D East 1279.02 feet from the Southwest
line of said Block, said parallel line being the
13� Southeast line of Acacia Street and running
thence -South 500 Ill 45" East 590.00 feet; thence
14 North 39° 481. 15" East 10.00 feet; thence North
500 ll'' 45" West-580,00 feet to above described
1.5 parallel line; thence South 39° 48" 15" West along
said parallel line 10.00 feet to the point of
16 beginning; said strip of land being ten feet in
width;

19 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
20 said grant deed for such purposes;
21 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
22 the City of Newport Beach that said grant deed be accepted and
23 the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach a
24 certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
25� grant deed in the County Recorders office.
26 ADOPTED this 11th day of July, 1960.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 11th day of July 19 60 by the following
