A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH - AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF.A

CONTRACT. AMENDMENT

WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and Newport Dunes,
6
Inc., entered into a contract dated July 1, 19603, in which the
7
City agreed to sell surplus water to the Dunes for a period from
8
July 1, 1960, through August 31, 1960; and
9
WHEREAS, the parties have reviewed said contract and
10
desire to extend the term thereof to and including June 30, 1961;
11
and
12
WHEREAS, a contract has been prepared amending said
13�
contract dated July 1, 1960, to accomplish this purpose; and
14
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed said amendment and found
15
the same to be acceptable and in the interests of the City of
16�
Newport Beach;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City

Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said

amendment on behalf of the City.
