RESOLUTION NO. 5299
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMENT TO PARKING AREA B.
CORONA DEL MAR STATE AND CITY BEACH PARK
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of improvement to parking area B.
Corona del Mar State and City Beach Park, City of Newport Beach,
in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore
adopted, bids were received on the 4th day of August, 1960, and
publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
for such construction work is Goode & Schroeder, Inc.

14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of
15 Goode & Schroeder, Inc., in the amount of
16 $80449.91 be accepted and that the contract for the con-
17I struction work be awarded to said bidder.
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
19 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
20 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
21 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
22 an executed copy to the successful bidder.

I, MARGERY SCHROUDER, City Clerk of the City of Newport
Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records
of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution No. 5299 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 8th day of August 1960 by the following
vote, to wit:
