RESOLUTION NO. 5305

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
2 OF NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING A
PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET KNOWN AS FIRST
3 STREET WHICH IS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, CLOSED
UP AND ABANDONED

5 WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Newport Beach
6 has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a
7 certain map entitled "Kap Snowing Portion of 1st Street to be
8 VacatedB. Drawing No. L -2983, dated August 19, 1960, showing a
9 portion of said First Street in the City of Newport Beach which t
10 City is considering vacating, closing up and abandoning and which
11 portion is more particularly described as follows:
12 That portion of First Street shown upon a map of East
Newport recorded.in Book 3, page 37, of Miscellaneous
13 Maps, Records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:

Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Lot 1,
15 Block 2, as shown on said map; thence southerly
along the easterly line of said Lot 1 a distance
16 of 70.00 feet; thence easterly along the westerly
prolongation of the southerly line of Lot 11, Block
17 1, as shown on said map, a distance of.40.00 feet;
thence southerly along a line which is parallel to
18 and 10.00 feet westerly of the southerly prolonga-
tion of the westerly line of said Lot 11 a distance
19 of 10.00 feet; thence easterly along the westerly
pprolongation of the northerly line of Lot 13, Block
20 1, as shown on said map, a distance of 10.00 feet;
thence northerly along the westerly line of said
21 Lot 11 and the southerly prolongation thereof a
distance of 80.00 feet; thence westerly along the
22 westerly prolongation of the northerly line of said
23 Lot 11 to the point of beginning.
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said map be and is
25 hereby approved aad adopted, and the City Clerk is ordered and
26 directed to file the same in the proceedings for the abandonment
27 of said portion of said street.

of the City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office,
the foregoing Resolution Noe 5305 was duly and
regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
the 22d day of August 19 60 , by the following
vote, to wit:
