2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
3 OF A QUITCLAIM. DEED

5 WHEREAS,. records in the County Recorder's office
8 indicate that the Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach on
7 February 28, 1936, executed a deed to the City of Newport Beach
8 conveying Lot 10 in Block 7 of Tract No. 772, in the City of New-
9 port Beach, County of Orange, State of California, as per map
10 recorded in Book 23, Pages 5 and 6, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the
11 office of the County Recorder of said county; and
12 WHEREAS, it appears that the deed was executed in error
13 or that the delinquency has subsequently been paid and the
14 encumbrance not removed; and
15 WHEREAS, it appears that the City does not now have any
16 interest in said lot and it would be proper to execute a quit-
17 claim deed releasing the apparent interest;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
19 the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor and City Clerk are
20 hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim deed
21 releasing the City's apparent interest in said lot to the owner
22 or owners of record.

regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of
said City Council held at the regular meeting place thereof, on
