2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, Westcliff Development Company, a limited
5 partnership, has executed a grant of easement to the City of
6 Newport Beach conveying an easement for street and highway pur-
7 poses over the following described property situated in the City
8 of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
9 A strip of land 2 feet in width lying within Lot 4 of Tract
No. 3607 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 128,
10 pages 37 and 38 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, the boundary of said 2 foot strip of
11 land being more particularly described as follows:
12 Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 4 of said
Tract No. 3607; thence Northerly and Northwesterly along a
13 curve concave Westerly, havi a radius of 102.54 feet,
through a central angle of 16 44' 11 ", a distance of 29.95
14 feet to the beginning of a tangent reverse curve, concave
Southeasterly, having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence North -
15 westerly, Northerly and Northeasterly along said curve and
along the Northwesterly line of Lot 4 through a central
16i angle of 88° 33' 48 ", a distance.of 23.19 feet to the begin-
ning of a tangent line; thence South 36° 19' 3681 East,
171 2.00 feet to the beginning of a curve, tangent at right
j angles, concave Southeasterly, having a radius of 13.00
18i feet; thence Southwesterly and Southerly along said curve
through a central angle of 88° 33' 48L.. a distance of
19 20.09 feet to the beginning of a tangent reverse curve,
concave Westerly, having a radius of 104.54 feet; thence
20 Southerly along said curve through a central angle of 170
12' 09 ", a distance of 31.39 feet to the Southerly line
21 I of said Lot 4; thence North 850 05' 00" West, 2.17 feet
along the Southerly line of Lot 4 to the point of beginning;
22 and
23 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
24 said grant of easement for such purposes;
25 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach that said grant of easement be accepted
27� and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and at-
28 tach a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of
• 29 said grant of easement in the County Recorder's office.
